– 2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
– 3 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 1 tablespoon sesame oil

– Sesame seeds, for garnish
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Cooking oil (for frying)
Instructions
Creating Gochujang Chicken is easier than you might think! Just follow these steps for a mouthwatering dish:
1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well. Add the chicken and ensure each piece is coated in the marinade. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes (or refrigerate for several hours for deeper flavors).
2. Heat the Oil: In a large skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of cooking oil and allow it to warm up.
3. Cook the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade (reserving the marinade for later) and add it to the skillet. Sear on both sides until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Add the Marinade: Pour the reserved marinade over the chicken and reduce the heat to low. Cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Check and Season: Taste the sauce and add salt and pepper as needed. Adjust the spiciness by adding more gochujang if desired.
6. Garnish: Once cooking is complete, remove the chicken from heat. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
7. Serve: Transfer the Gochujang Chicken to a serving dish.
